The minor in computer science is an excellent complement to nearly any other field of study, developing a critical, analytical mind as well as practical software development skills. The student who chooses to minor has considerable flexibility in setting their path: their course selections can focus on specific areas, such as knowledge processing or software engineering, or on just attaining breadth in the field.
